Every card uses the NXP NTAG424 DNA chip, the same chip the Bolt Card standard runs on. It ships with factory defaults, so after delivery you can set it up as your own Bolt Card and pay over Lightning with a tap. You configure it yourself with the open tools at boltcard.org. We do not preprogram cards as Bolt Cards.
